Bayer Denied New Trial In Rice Contamination MDL

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 1:50 PM EST) -- A judge has denied a bid by Bayer CropScience LP to grant a retrial or reverse a $610,000 judgment for a Louisiana farm partnership in the fourth bellwether trial over the company’s genetically modified rice, which allegedly contaminated the U.S. rice crop.
