Metters' Protest Over Late Army Proposal Nixed

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 2:10 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has shot down Metters Inc.'s bid protest over a delivery order for a virtual training system for dismounted soldiers, finding that the company failed to meet the U.S. Army's deadline for submitting copies of its subcontractors' proposals in the correct format.

The GAO denied Metters' protest on Wednesday, finding that the Army properly rejected the proposal as late because Metters' paper copies and its subcontractor's e-mailed copies of the proposals were both unauthorized under the Army's guidelines for the project....
