Oak Group Fights Termination Of Army Contract

Law360, New York (November 16, 2010, 6:23 PM EST) -- The Oak Group Inc. has sued the federal government, claiming that a failed contract to perform work at an Alabama military base was the result of miscommunication between the company and contracting officials, and not its fault.

According to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the government acted arbitrarily when it dropped Oak from a U.S. Army contract in July, apparently as the result of a failure to secure the proper bond for the project.
