Vertis Holdings Plans Quick 2nd Trip Through Ch. 11

Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 1:02 PM EST) -- Advertising firm Vertis Holdings Inc. has landed in bankruptcy court once again, filing a prepackaged Chapter 11 plan with several affiliates aimed at helping the company wipe out $700 million in debt.

The Baltimore-based Vertis listed more than $1 billion in both assets and liabilities on the petition Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP's Mark A. McDermott and Kenneth S. Ziman lodged Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
