2 DHS Contractors Suspended In SBA Probe

Law360, New York (November 19, 2010, 2:39 PM EST) -- Two U.S. Department of Homeland Security contractors have been barred from federal contracting amid allegations they misrepresented their status to obtain contracts set aside for small businesses, passing on the vast bulk of the work to a subcontractor.

The U.S. Small Business Administration notified EG Solutions LLC and MultimaxArray FirstSource on Thursday about the suspensions over their alleged dishonesty as prime contractors on DHS FirstSource technology contracts that were part of a procurement reserved for eligible small businesses.
