Merck Picks Up Another Win In Fosamax Bellwether

Law360, New York (November 19, 2010, 7:20 PM EST) -- Jurors returned a verdict Friday in favor of Merck & Co. Inc. in one of a handful of bellwether cases alleging the company’s osteoporosis drug Fosamax can cause bone rotting in patients’ jaws, marking the third win for Merck out of four such cases.
