GAO Nixes Protests Over Construction Contracts

Law360, New York (November 23, 2010, 6:42 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has nixed a pair of bid protests over the Navy's award of five construction contracts for government facilities in Guam, finding that the evaluation of the bids was reasonable and consistent with their solicitation.

The GAO on Tuesday released public versions of the sealed decisions it issued June 28 denying protests lodged by AIC International Inc. and Reliable Builders Inc., two companies whose proposals for the construction work were rejected by the Navy.
