GAO Denies Protest Over Military Satellite Contract

Law360, New York (November 24, 2010, 5:45 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied a bid protest by U.S. Electrodynamics Inc., which claimed that requirements in a request for proposals for satellite service by the Defense Information Systems Agency constituted improper bundling under the Small Business Act.

In a decision rendered Nov. 12 and made public Tuesday, GAO acting general counsel Lynn H. Gibson ruled that the agency reasonably determined that the consolidation of bid requirements would result in substantial benefits to the government.
