Supreme Court Ends Antitrust Match Against ATP Tour

Law360, New York (November 29, 2010, 3:53 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a case in which a group of small tennis organizations accused men's professional tennis association ATP Tour Inc. of violating antitrust laws when it reconfigured its tournament system.

By denying a petition for a writ of certiorari filed by the German Tennis Federation, the Qatar Tennis Federation and Hamburg, Germany, tournament operator Rothenbaum Sports GmbH, the Supreme Court let stand a jury finding and subsequent appeals court ruling in favor of ATP.
