KBR's Appeal Over $3M Iraq Supply Contract Survives

Law360, New York (December 7, 2010, 2:43 PM EST) -- The Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals has rejected the U.S. government's bid to nix Kellogg Brown & Root Services Inc.'s appeal seeking more than $3 million in payment and interest on invoices for supplies and services in Iraq under a contract that was transferred to the Iraqi government.

In an opinion handed down on Nov. 23 and made public Monday, Administrative Judge Eunice W. Thomas denied the government's motion to dismiss KBR's appeal for lack of jurisdiction under the Contract Disputes Act.
