Ex-Aspen CEO Pleads Guilty To Securities Fraud

Law360 (March 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former chief executive of Aspen Technology Inc. pled guilty Monday to charges of securities fraud after being accused by federal authorities of falsifying the company’s revenues in reports to the public.

David McQuillin, 49, is scheduled to be sentenced in July in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and one count of securities fraud.
