Judge Kills Protest Of $3B NASA Space Cargo Contract

Law360 (December 15, 2010, 2:27 PM EST) -- A federal judge has thrown out a bid protest over a $3 billion NASA contract to transport cargo to the International Space Station, accepting the space agency’s claim that plaintiff PlanetSpace Inc.’s lower overall bid was outweighed by the risk that the contractor would come in far over budget.
