Nokia Expands European Front In Apple Patent War

Law360, New York (December 16, 2010, 12:12 PM EST) -- Finnish mobile phone behemoth Nokia Corp. expanded its intellectual property war with Apple Corp. on Thursday, announcing new lawsuits in Germany, the Netherlands and the U.K. that assert various patents against the California technology giant's blockbuster gadgets.

Apple products including the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch infringe 13 Nokia patents, above and beyond 24 already at the center of legal battles in U.S. federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission, the Finnish company alleged.
