GAO Nixes Protest Of Mideast Transport Contract

Law360 (December 17, 2010, 5:39 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has backed the U.S. Army's rejection of a proposal by Industrial Construction & Trading Co. for transport services and other work in the Middle East, finding no evidence that the Army received key past performance information from the company.

In a decision made Dec. 13 but publicly issued Thursday, the GAO was unmoved by arguments from the heavy equipment and commercial vehicle dealer, of Kuwait and Amman, Jordan, that it provided the required information.
