Aflac Faces Class Action Over Ineligible Premiums

Law360, New York (December 17, 2010, 4:44 PM EST) -- Aflac Inc. has been hit with a putative class action alleging it collected premiums for dependent children even after they became too old to be covered under their parents' health insurance policies.

Pamela K. Guschausky filed the lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. She brought the suit on behalf of a nationwide class of people who continued to be charged premiums for dependents who were no longer eligible for coverage.
