Northwest Flight Attendants Still Barred From Striking

Law360 (March 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a blow to Northwest Airlines’ flight attendants, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has upheld a lower court ruling banning the group from striking while in mediation talks.

On Thursday, the Second Circuit sided with Northwest in the employment dispute, sparked by the bankrupt carrier’s decision to slash $195 million in annual pay and benefits of its attendants.
