DOD Scales Back Plan To Cut Contracts

Law360 (December 23, 2010, 12:18 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Defense is assuring a group of Virginia lawmakers that the planned 10 percent cut to defense contracts over the next three years will apply only to specific portions of the department's massive $143 billion service contract budget, not the whole thing, as critics had feared.
