Attorneys Eye "Mind-Boggling" Settlement In Beatles Vs. Apple Trademark Case

Law360, New York (September 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Beatles’ trademark infringement lawsuit against Apple Computer could lead to the largest settlement in U.K. legal history, outside of a class action suit, according to a published report.

Entertainment trade magazine Daily Variety speculates the settlement may even see former Beatle Paul McCartney taking a seat on Apple's board, and Apple Corps grabbing a large, but unspecified, chunk of Apple Computer's shares.
