Taxi Ad Co. Asks 2nd Circ. To Revive Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 4:47 PM EST) -- Taxi roof advertising company Astra Media Group LLC argued Tuesday in the Second Circuit that it was not given a fair chance to investigate Clear Channel Taxi Media LLC's pricing before its antitrust case against the rival was dismissed.

Astra's attorney, David W. Phillips of LeClairRyan, told a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that the company's case accusing Clear Channel of conspiring with New York taxi regulators to shut it out of the market was dismissed prematurely.
