Judge Kills Suit Over Axed $6M Marine Armor Contract

Law360, New York (January 3, 2011, 4:33 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed Armour of America Inc.'s suit accusing the federal government of arbitrarily terminating a $6 million helicopter armor contract and awarded the government about $1.55 million in costs.

Judge Marian Blank Horn dismissed the case with prejudice in a sealed opinion lodged Thursday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, giving the parties until Friday to agree on a redacted version to be made public.
