Oracle Faces $110M Software Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 4:36 PM EST) -- Texas software maker 2FA Technology LLC is seeking more than $110 million in damages from Oracle Corp. and a subsidiary, claiming the companies profited from trade secrets they stole in stark violation of a license agreement.

Oracle subsidiary Passlogix Inc. stole thousands of documents from 2FA related to its credential management and authentication software and used them to develop similar products of its own, according to a complaint lodged Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
