GAO Tosses $64M Airfield Lighting Contract Protest

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 6:26 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has tossed Patriot Taxiway Industries Inc.'s protest of a $64.4 million contract to design a portable airfield lighting system for the U.S. Air Force, which the company insisted could not be done at that price.
