Chitron Can't Shake Guilty Verdict Over China Exports

Law360 (January 4, 2011, 7:04 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Tuesday largely kept intact a jury verdict that found Chitron Electronics Inc. and two of its executives conspired to illegally export computer chips used in radar and other military equipment to China.

Judge Patti B. Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued an order that denied a motion to dismiss, denied a motion for a new trial and declined to set aside the jury verdict on most of the counts of which the defendants were convicted....
