Boeing Crash Suits Belong In Ill. Court: 7th Circ.

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 8:04 PM EST) -- Boeing Co. lost its bid Tuesday to remove a slew of lawsuits regarding a fatal crash involving a Boeing-built airliner from state to federal court, with the Seventh Circuit ruling the removal was premature under the Class Action Fairness Act.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit's decision upheld the ruling of several district court judges who also decided that the cases must be remanded to state court.
