New Balance Sued Over Toning Shoes

Law360, New York (January 5, 2011, 1:15 PM EST) -- New Balance Inc. has been hit with a proposed class action alleging its Truebalance line of athletic shoes don't help consumers strengthen their leg muscles and burn calories as advertised.

Consumer Bistra Pashamova filed the suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on behalf of anyone who purchased Truebalance shoes or other New Balance lines of toning footwear.
