Porsche Faces Class Suit Over Cooling Leaks

Law360, New York (January 6, 2011, 1:26 PM EST) -- Porsche Cars North America Inc. has been hit with a putative class action alleging that the luxury car company knowingly installed faulty plastic cooling tubes in its Cayenne models.

According to the suit, lodged in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday, the faulty tubes prematurely degrade and fracture, causing a leak of cooling fluid that can lead to engine damage and failure.
