Delphi Seeks To Ship Finance Jobs To India

Law360 (April 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Delphi Corp. is seeking bankruptcy court approval to “significantly” reduce the number of its North American and European financial employees by outsourcing their jobs to India's Genpact International LLC as part of its plan to reorganize operations and exit Chapter 11 protection.

In court documents filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the bankrupt auto parts maker asked for the green light to enter into an agreement with Genpact.
