NLRB Serves Starbucks A Suit For Union Busting

Law360 (April 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Starbucks has brewed itself up a cup of trouble with the National Labor Relations Board, which accused the coffee chain Friday of illegally fighting union activity at four shops in Manhattan.

The NLRB’s New York office issued a complaint after organizers from the Industrial Workers of the World accused Starbucks of retaliating against workers who wanted to unionize.
