Sony, Toyota Infringe Component Process, Suit Says

Law360, New York (January 18, 2011, 12:50 PM EST) -- Sony Corp., Toyota Motor Corp. and others are facing patent infringement allegations from a small technology firm that claims its micromechanical component process is being infringed by technology in cars and video game controllers.

Memtech LLC asserted demands for injunctive and monetary relief in a complaint lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, targeting Sony, Toyota and a pair of distributors.
