Chinese Co. Told To Hand Over Docs In Vitamin C Case

Law360, New York (January 21, 2011, 2:18 PM EST) -- The federal judge overseeing a multidistrict litigation targeting several Chinese companies for fixing the price of vitamin C has ordered one of the defendants to turn over eight of nine documents requested by the plaintiffs.

Magistrate Judge James Orenstein of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York issued the ruling Thursday, saying Northeast Pharmaceutical Group Co. Ltd. must hand over the documents because they were not privileged.
