Claims Trimmed In OLG Contract Suit Against US

Law360, New York (January 21, 2011, 2:48 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed two claims from Overseas Lease Group Inc.'s lawsuit alleging the U.S. government violated federal procurement laws and the terms of a contract for leased police vehicles.

In an order Thursday, Judge Robert H. Hodges Jr. of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims nixed OLG's debarment claims for lack of jurisdiction, saying the allegations belong in a district court unless they are tied to a specific procurement.
