Class Member Takes $10M Clorox Deal To 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (January 21, 2011, 7:05 PM EST) -- A consumer who objected to a settlement of approximately $9.75 million to end a deceptive advertising class action against Clorox Co. has appealed a judge's order approving the deal.

Sonia Newman filed a notice of appeal Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, taking the case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit a day after Magistrate Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo granted final approval to the settlement.
