Judge Allows New Complaint In Halliburton FCA Suit

Law360, New York (January 24, 2011, 6:52 PM EST) -- A federal judge gave former employees at Halliburton Co. a chance Monday to amend their complaint claiming the company overbilled the U.S. for various projects, allowing them to include allegations involving additional military camps.

Magistrate Judge John M. Facciola of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia told the qui tam relators they could not add an expert's report over allegations pertaining to two additional military camps in Iraq not covered in their complaint, but instead could file an amended complaint with additional allegations...
