Court Lets Wal-Mart Silence Fired Security Operative

Law360, New York (April 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Arkansas judge granted Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s request to stop fired security operative Bruce Gabbard from talking to any more reporters, court papers revealed on Monday.

The company filed a lawsuit and request for a temporary restraining order against Gabbard in the Arkansas Circuit Court in Benton County after hours on Friday. On Monday, the suit and Judge John R. Scott’s order granting the gag request became part of public file.
