Nokia, Others Face Wireless Navigation Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 31, 2011, 2:42 PM EST) -- A Texas inventor has accused Nokia Inc., Dell Inc. and seven other companies of infringing a pair of patents that cover wireless navigation technology.

Alfred Levine filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday, claiming that the defendants — which also include Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co. — have marketed wireless navigation systems and devices that violate the patents-in-suit.
