SBA Extends Deadlines For Size Determination, Appeals

Law360, New York (February 2, 2011, 12:16 PM EST) -- The U.S. Small Business Administration adopted a rule Wednesday extending the time it has to make a formal size determination for companies seeking small business set-aside awards and shortening its response time to appeals of size status from contractors.

The final rule is designed to help adjust the statutory deadlines for size appeals and North American Industry Classification System code appeals to give the SBA more time to work out its formal findings, and to shorten the time contractors must wait to receive final word on...
