Merrill Ordered To Give Ex-Broker Her Job Back

Law360 (April 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Merrill Lynch must rehire a former female broker who won $2.2 million in a sex discrimination law suit against the investment bank, an arbitration panel has ruled.

In a judgment handed down Monday the three-member panel upheld its July 2005 ruling calling for the Wall Street firm to give Hydie Sumner her job back and admit her to the company’s management assessment center.
