Ill. Top Court Rejects Gateway Arbitration Clause

Law360, New York (February 4, 2011, 7:04 PM EST) -- The Supreme Court of Illinois has ruled in a putative class action that a Gateway Inc. consumer arbitration agreement cannot be enforced, a decision the plaintiff's attorneys say could make it easier for consumers to have their claims heard in court.
