US Beats Protests Over Coast Guard Repair Contracts

Law360, New York (February 7, 2011, 6:27 PM EST) -- A federal judge has shot down Commissioning Solutions Global LLC's post-award bid protest over contracts to repair four U.S. Coast Guard vessels, saying the U.S. fairly evaluated the company’s past performance.

In an opinion unsealed Monday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Judge Edward J. Damich dismissed the engineering services firm's bid protests regarding two Coast Guard contracts and handed the U.S. judgment on the administrative record on the allegations over two other contracts.
