KBR Info Request Survives DOD Dismissal Bid

Law360, New York (February 9, 2011, 1:36 PM EST) -- A federal judge has rejected the U.S. Department of Defense's bid to dismiss KBR Inc.'s suit seeking records related to civilian security in Iraq and the company's LOGCAP III contract to provide support services to U.S. troops.

Judge John D. Bates of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia denied the DOD's motion to dismiss without prejudice in an order issued Tuesday.
