NYC Consultant Pleads Guilty In $80M CityTime Fraud

Law360, New York (February 10, 2011, 7:05 PM EST) -- A consultant who allegedly helped defraud New York of $80 million while working on the Big Apple's CityTime timekeeping project has pled guilty to charges of bribery and money laundering.

Victor Natanzon pled guilty to four counts on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, according to court records. He faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, the plea agreement said. The conspirators allegedly used shell corporations to launder the funds.
