Fed. Circ. Affirms H&B Win In Glove Infringement Suit

Law360, New York (February 11, 2011, 6:10 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday upheld a lower court’s ruling that sports equipment maker Hillerich & Bradsby Co.’s signature glove series doesn't infringe a California inventor’s patent covering hand grips that used similar technology.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld a judgment of noninfringement favoring H&B, maker of the iconic Louisville Slugger baseball bat, in a dispute brought by patent holder Mark McHugh over the company’s Bionic Gloves.
