NFL Tackles Players' Union With Unfair Labor Charge

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 1:42 PM EST) -- The National Football League has accused the NFL Players Association of purposely stalling labor talks as part of a strategy to hit the league with antitrust litigation if team owners follow through on threats of a lockout.

In an unfair labor practice charge filed Monday with the National Labor Relations Board, the NFL claims the union consistently failed to engage in good faith negotiations on wages, hours and other work terms .
