5 Plead Not Guilty In CityTime Kickback Case

Law360, New York (February 16, 2011, 2:26 PM EST) -- A former New York City payroll project manager and four other defendants pled not guilty Wednesday to allegations they engaged in an $80 million kickback and bribery scheme associated with a major city timekeeping system overhaul.

Mark Mazer, who formerly oversaw the so-called CityTime project, entered his plea along with defendants Dimitry Aronshtein, Svetlana Mazer, Larisa Medzon and Anna Makovetskaya before Judge George B. Daniels in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
