Attorney Seeks $11,000 An Hour In Motorola Case

Law360 (April 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Famed Florida litigator Willie Gary is reportedly seeking a hefty $11,000-per-hour fee for work he and a team of plaintiffs attorneys representing SPS Technologies Corp. put into in a drawn-out trade secrets case with Motorola Inc. that ended in a mistrial in November.

Gary said in court documents that Motorola should pay him at least $11,000 an hour for 2,211.5 hours of work, but that he plans to ask Circuit Judge Leroy Moe for up to $22,000 an hour because Motorola’s lawyers broke court rules, Bloomberg...
