Google Faces Renewed EU Antitrust Complaint

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 3:56 PM EST) -- A French search engine company accused Google Inc. on Tuesday of retaliating against it over an antitrust complaint that convinced the European Union to begin investigating the Internet giant.

France's 1PlusV, whose Ejustice.fr was one of the search sites whose previous complaints led the European Commission to open a broad antitrust probe of Google's policies, lodged a follow-up complaint alleging Google has further abused its stronghold over the online search market.
