Shareholders Sue EMSC Over $3.2B Deal

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 3:24 PM EST) -- Shareholders have lodged at least two class action lawsuits against Emergency Medical Services Corp. over its planned $3.2 billion sale to private equity firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice LLC.

One suit was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, several days after the company announced the deal. Another lawsuit is pending in Colorado's Arapahoe County District Court, according to court records.
