Supreme Court Won't Hear Leegin Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 7:20 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court decided Tuesday not to grapple with sweeping antitrust questions raised by a landmark vertical minimum price-fixing case, letting stand its earlier ruling allowing manufacturer Leegin Creative Leather Products Inc. to set retail prices for its products.

The high court declined a petition for a writ of certiorari by the plaintiff, clothing boutique PSKS Inc., giving no elaboration on its reason not to hear the case.

Attorneys for the parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
