Jones Day Hires Former DOJ Official

Law360, New York (April 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- International law firm Jones Day LLP expanded it U.S. competition practice on Monday with the addition of energy specialist Bruce McDonald, the former deputy assistant attorney general in the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division.

McDonald, one of two DOJ deputies in charge of civil antitrust enforcement since 2003, joined Jones Day’s Washington, D.C. office, but plans to spend a significant amount of time at its Houston location handling matters in his area of expertise.
