Disney Faces Privacy Class Action Over Worker IDs

Law360, New York (February 23, 2011, 6:29 PM EST) -- Disneyland employees filed a putative class action Tuesday in California against Walt Disney Co. alleging it invaded their privacy and put them at risk of identity theft by using ID cards with barcodes embedded with workers' social security numbers.

Kristi Richards, Josh Stern and Jorge Iniestra filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Walt Disney and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts US Inc.
